I was able to observe Ms. Rose' science class this week. They were setting up a lab with the intent of measuring wavelength which is the distance between successive wave crests. I appreciated that Ms. Rose worked to provide a concrete example of a scientific concept. If you look closely, you can see students with yardsticks that were ready to measure wavelength on the world's longest slinkies! The class was well organized and 90% of the students were Intellectually Engaged in the successful lab. Great job Ms. Rose!
