Notice is hereby given that Libby School District No. 4 of Lincoln County will hold theirState of Montana Annual School Election on Tuesday May 7, 2024, by mail ballot. Ballots may be returned to the following locations at the following times:

Locations prior to Election Day: 
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office located at 512 California Ave, Libby, Hours: 24/7; or 
Lincoln County Election Office located 418 Mineral Ave Libby, MT 59923, Hours: M-F 8:00am- 5:00pm or 
Mailed to Lincoln County Election Office 418 Mineral Ave Libby, MT 59923 and received by 8pm on election day-postmarked does not count.

Locations on Election Day: Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office located at 512 California Ave,
Libby or Lincoln County Election Office located 418 Mineral Ave Libby, MT 59923, Hours: 7am-8pm.

Electors will consider the following issues at the election:
• Three (3) Trustees to be elected for a three (3) year term

A qualified registered elector who will be absent from the district during the time the election is being conducted may: a) vote in person in the Election Office as soon as the ballots are available and until noon the day before the ballots are scheduled to be mailed;
b) make a written request, signed by the applicant and addressed to the election administrator, that the ballot be mailed to an address other than the address that appears on the registration card.

If you miss the regular registration deadline (April 8th, 2024), you may still register for the
election by showing up at the Election Office by noon on the day before election day.
